Tour
news 2009...
It's soon to be our turn to return the hospitality shown by the
lads (and lasses) of St Aubin following the tour there last year
- originally dubbed the "Chunder Wonder Tour", later to
be know as
"Timmy's Topple Tour"!!!
L'Equipe de St. Aubin are scheduled to arrive on our shores on FRIDAY
26th June 2009 - with a game 'gainst ourselves the following day.
Disco and his
team have announced the following schedule that should be committed
to memory ASAP. Please make every effort to be present for all or
part of the weekend - it'll be fun, even if you wont remember it in
the morning!

Civic reception at the Mayors offices - drinks, canapés
and formal welcome |
| 18:30 |
Romsey pub crawl - incorporating 'Silks', 'The Olive Tree' and
'The Bishops Blaze' where a buffet will be provided and a late license
until 1am. All back to the club for a night cap. |
| Saturday 27th June |
| 10:30 |
Meet at Trojans rugby club to prepare for the re-match.
Kick-off at 11:30am. The game will be officiated by Premier
standard Ref & line officials. Rolling substitutions will be
included to allow all players to get a game of some sort. |

Arrive back at Romsey rugby club to watch the 2nd British Lions
test against South Africa and enjoy a some real ale. Also,
to await Macca'a attempt to get on the TV as he will be at
Loftus Versfeld. |

Beer festival at the club together with live music from a great
London covers band and presentation of the Winners Cup & Dick
of the Day award. |

Ringwood Brewery Tour with a traditional ploughman's lunch (we
need confirmation of attendees in advance). |

Return to club for more drinks, BBQ, silly games and closing
speeches and presentation of the Puke of the Tour trophy. |
